There are a lot of fantastic and wonderful knives in the world today, many of which are designed with the sole purpose of catching one's eye. They have added bits and pieces here and there which give and air of functionality, but most often only hinder it. Clint Bova, maker of fine handcrafted bamboo fly rods puts it like this:

"I often use the term “Mr. Potato Head” when I look at a fly rod, firearm, automobile, etc... that have both features and functions that are unintentional adaptations and lack harmony."

Here at Spring Creek Knife Works, we produce cutlery with excellent fit and finish, but the beauty is in the ultimate useability of the knife itself.

The signature design of the SCKW fixed blade knife, which is translated into four different size models, is the result of several years of research and development. The handle's ergonomic shape provides a comfortable grip in any position, and the blade angle the right amount of leverage for the most demanding cutting tasks. The drop point blade's fine point is suited to fine detail work and the sweep of the edge will handle all of your slicing chores.

Simplicity and strength are the core elements of the construction of our knives. Full tang blades of tough, edge holding steels, weather resistant handle materials, stainless steel pins, and industrial strength epoxy are combined into a heavy duty yet precise cutting tools.
